Holiday fundraiser questions
When should our fundraiser run so supporters get their gifts in time?
The sooner you finish, the better. Try to wrap up your fundraiser about 10 days before you want supporters to have their orders. For Christmas, that means finishing by the second week of December. Every fundraiser runs for 7 days, so start by early December at the latest. Holiday mail volume can occasionally slow USPS deliveries, but delays are rare.
Socks or candles: which works better as a gift?
Both do. Candles are an easy gift for teachers, neighbors, and family, and fun socks make a favorite stocking stuffer. Each fundraiser sells one product, so pick the one your supporters will like most.
Where can we see the socks and candles?
Browse the current collections in our sock demo store and candle demo store. The collection mostly stays the same. Every couple of months, we aim to swap out about 10% of the lineup, retiring the slowest sellers and bringing in fresh designs and new items.
Does this work for bands, school groups, and clubs, not just sports teams?
Yes. Any team, band, choir, school group, club, or PTA can run a FundChamps fundraiser. Every member gets their own store to share with family and friends.
How do I schedule a fundraiser?
It takes about 30 seconds. Click the Schedule a Fundraiser button, or visit this link. Name your team, pick socks or candles, and choose a start date. Start today or plan up to 18 months ahead, around your season, a tournament, or a big trip.
How do team members join the fundraiser?
Easy. When you create your fundraiser, it gets its own join code. Share it with everyone who'll be selling. They install the FundChamps app, enter the code, and they're in, with their own store ready to share with family and friends.
What do team members need to set up their store?
Just their name, a photo, and how much they want to raise. That's it, they're ready to start selling.
Does each team member get their own goal?
Yes. Every team member sets their own goal, so everyone has something to aim for and can watch their progress grow.

Yes. Every team member gets a unique store link with their photo on it, so supporters know exactly who they're cheering on.
Is there a leaderboard?
Yes. The leaderboard shows how every team member is doing. A little friendly competition goes a long way.
Do we have to download the mobile app?
Not to create one. You can set up and manage your fundraiser right here on the website. Your team members do need the FundChamps app (iOS or Android) to join and set up their store. It also makes it easy for them to share their store, watch orders roll in, and climb the leaderboard. They can delete it once the fundraiser ends.
Do supporters need the app to buy?
Nope. Supporters just open a team member's store link, pick what they love, and check out right in their browser. No app needed.
What does it cost?
Nothing to start. Your team keeps 50% of every sale: $6–$8 a pair of socks, or $12.50 a candle. No inventory, no contracts, no minimums.
How and when do we get paid?
Every fundraiser runs for 7 days. When it ends, we send your team's funds by check or ACH, your choice. There's no payout fee.
Can our fundraiser run longer than 7 days?
Yes. Every fundraiser starts as a 7-day push, but if your team needs more time, email us at help@fundchamps.com and we'll extend it.
